Cultivating Presence: Mindfulness for Daily Living

With Brenlee Reida
Tuesdays at 7:00 - 8:30 pm in the Sanctuary
Brenlee ReidaGather in community each week to engage in the experiential journey of cultivating mindfulness in your daily life. Sit together in meditation and engage in rich discussion exploring formal and informal practices drawing from science, psychology and spiritual traditions to identify practical applications for your life.
Here are a few scientifically-validated benefits of mindfulness practices:
  • Increases immune function, positive emotion, social connection, emotional intelligence, focus and attention.
  • Decreases pain, inflammation at a cellular level, anxiety and stress.
  • Improves the ability to regulate emotions, to be creative, and to “think outside the box.”

Bring your own cushion, blanket or yoga mat if you like. Chairs are available.
