Music and Choir

"Action will sometimes be required, but if you’re really doing it
in line with what the universe is trying to deliver, it’s going to feel joyous, you’re going to feel so alive,
time will just stop, you could do it all day.” - Bob Doyle

You just never know what music you’ll hear at Unity of Walnut Creek. Opera? Sometimes. Jazz? Check. Old-fashioned hymns? Yep. Rock? That too!

Music directors Lisa and Tyler Snortum-Phelps work with a host of volunteer and professional musicians who are passionate about music to bring a mix of traditional and contemporary styles to Unity’s services. If you are interested in performing at Unity, see the Directory page.

Spiritual Hands Choir

Spiritual Hands Choir with Terri and Larry Curtin
Thursdays, 7:00-9:00 pm in the CommUnity Room - ON HIATUS; WE'LL LET YOU KNOW WHEN IT WILL START UP AGAIN

Join us to learn sign language with music!

It's easier to learn to sign to songs because you can relate to the lyrics and song choices. You'll feel the emotions you experience and show your expressions through sign language -- because it's all about expression and feelings.

We can help you learn basic sign language and, when you are ready, you can join the group to practice sign language through music.

The Spiritual Hands Choir will perform every other month during a Sunday Service.
