Principles and Practice of Prayer

LUT Ron SalazarAssistant Minister Sheila GautreauxBe guided through an understanding of the foundations of prayer and how it aligns you with the consciousness of Spirit. Using Unity’s teachings on positive prayer, inspiration from Myrtle Fillmore’s prayer life and concepts from the book Praying Through a Storm, instructors Ron Salazar and Sheila Gautreaux will facilitate four weeks of study and practice.
Sheila Gautreaux is the Unity of Walnut Creek Assistant Minister and choir director and a Licensed Unity Teacher, ordained Interfaith Minister, inspirational speaker, author, Radical Forgiveness coach, retired opera singer, columnist, mother and grandmother. She is the author of Praying Through A Storm: How Prayer Works, How to Make it Work For You, a book on the power and process of prayer. Sheila is an exciting speaker on spiritual principles and practice, forgiveness, relationships and women’s empowerment.
Ron Salazar is a Licensed Unity Teacher. He brings a passion for learning and teaching and a love of sharing the spiritual journey to this spiritual community.
Drop-ins are welcome; registration is not required. Classes are offered on a free-will donation basis (suggested donation $10 to $20). Classes are open to everyone; you do not need to be a member or attend Sunday services to attend the classes. If you have an access need, please let the office or teacher know.
