MISSION & VISION: An All-Community Identity Session
Sunday, April 7, 2019  •  2:00 - 4:00 pm

Unity of Walnut Creek's mission is what we have come here to be. It is why we exist. Please join Rev. Rita Marie Johnson and our Unity leaders for an all-congregation meeting.
Mission-centric ministries like ours use a mission statement as a guide for all we do. What we care about as a whole is reflected in our core values. We also hold a broad and inspiring vision for the world. These statements become an important framework to communicate who we are to others and to remind ourselves!
At this session, we will revisit and update our mission, vision and core values. Rita Marie will facilitate, using tools from The Connection Practice, which she founded through the Rasur Foundation. The practice is an artful blend of the  Heartmath Institute's “heart coherence” and methods found in Marshall Rosenberg’s Compassionate Communication.
We invite you to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the grounds and each other's company before the session.
