"The next morning (after the concert) a lady told me how wonderful the food was and how much she appreciated the Men's Group's hard work. My response was thanks very much for that but you know we had a group of eight to 10 guys in the kitchen joking and hanging out together, sharing a lot of love and a little wine, and making some fun food for our Unity family to share and enjoy together. I think we were the ones who were blessed." ― John R., Unity voulnteer
Volunteering is a way to put spiritual principles into practice.
Through acts as simple as weeding or as complex as managing a major event, volunteering is a path to knowing yourself, connecting with new people, deepening friendships and developing new skills.
It is a path to joy.
Whether you prefer working with people or behind a computer, whether you have time to organize an event, be a greeter at Sunday services, or engage with our children, your skills and talents are both needed and appreciated.
